Delete Account

  Deleting your Uptex account ends your ability to sign in and use our services. It does not erase historical data. As a regulated bank, we must retain certain records—such as your identity/KYC documents, account and transaction history, and compliance logs—for at least 10 years (or longer where law requires). These retention duties come from banking, AML/CFT, and data‑protection regulations and cannot be waived by a deletion request.

During the retention period, your data is stored securely and its use is restricted to legal, regulatory, fraud‑prevention, and security purposes in line with our IT & Cybersecurity controls and AML record‑keeping obligations.

When the applicable retention periods expire, we will delete or anonymize your data as set out in our Terms & Conditions and data‑protection commitments. For details about your rights (including erasure, subject to legal retention) please see our Terms.
